2025 Australian National Championships: Day 4 Results
Results on day 4 of the tournament from Striker Indoor Sports Centre and Seamer Indoor Sports Centre in Perth, Western Australia.

The tournament has passed the halfway stage with two days left until the finals series commences.
Here are how things panned out on day 4:
Open Men
The ACT Rockets have solidified their hold on first spot after two further wins on day four. They were staring at their first defeat of the tournament against Victoria in the first session, before a no-ball which went for seven in the final over saw them get over the line by one run, Victoria’s second one-run loss in as many games. It sees them over a full game in front of second-placed Western Australia.
Queensland were the other side to pick up two wins on the day, against New South Wales and South Australia, which were crucial for their campaign. New South Wales finished the day without a point, but are still hanging onto fourth spot, whilst Western Australia’s win against South Australia was enough to keep them in second. Victoria’s win against Western Australia in the last session has them in fifth, but just half a point behind New South Wales.
There are three rounds to play in the round-robin phase, with the top four teams qualifying for the finals series.

Open Women
Some crucial fixtures loom but Queensland has the slight edge after wins over Victoria and Western Australia took them up to six wins and four points ahead at top of the standings. The Lightning made up for their earlier loss to the Victorians with a 19-run win in a high-scoring affair.
South Australia comfortably defeated Western Australia and are tied with Victoria, although they have a game in hand, as do Tasmania.
With two to three rounds to play, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria are in line to play the finals series come Friday.

Under-22 Men
There were just two games held on day four, with New South Wales picking up an important win over ACT to extend the gap between the two sides by six points.
It sets up an intriguing last two to three rounds - with Queensland ahead by one point from Western Australia and New South Wales, but the Maroons and Blues both having a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Victoria thwarted Western Australia’s chance to top the table and scored their first victory of the tournament, with a one-run win.
The top three placed teams qualify for the finals series.

Under-22 Women
With three rounds to play, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are battling it out for the top three placings. The Blues extended their record to six wins from seven matches after thrashing South Australia, holding a four point lead over Victoria.
Victoria’s 47-run win over Queensland pushed up them up into second place, whilst ACT’s victory over Western Australia saw them hold onto the last finals spot.
